Sharknose Goby - Gobiosoma evelynae
Picture from November 2002 taken with Nikon CoolPix 950, No Flash

Purchased: November 16th, 2002.

This cute little fellow commonly known as the Yellow Striped Cleaner Gobie did not last long in my tank. I saw it for about 3 days and then it was gone. A few fellow hobbyist had them in SPS dominated tanks. I have a very large bubble coral and elegance coral which can easily kill (possibly eat) such a small fish. I never saw this fish approach any other fish to perform cleaning services.

This fish was about 1.5 inches long.

This fish was about 1.5 inches long, hard to spot and does not stay still long enough to get a crisp photograph.
