Orange Montipora digitata

This orange montipora has been a fairly slow grower for montipora species. But it has encrusted a nice base during the 3 months I've had it.

This picture is two months after the first one. The base has encrusted further and behind the coral (blocked in the image) there is alot of new growth and new branches.

Over the past two years this coral has not done very much. It has been fragged a few times and it tended to get shaded by corals that were higher up on the rocks.
