Pajama Cardinal - Sphaeramia nematoptera
This Pajama Cardinalfish is a nocturnal hunter with distinctive coloration that shelters under ledges or among Acropora branches during daylight hours. At night or early morning, it emerges to look for food, selectively picking at items in the homemade frozen mush such as Mysis. It's just under 3 inches long and often seen hovering above orange montipora coral.
