Green Table Acropora sp.

Green Table Acropora (Acropora sp.), just added to display tank. Picture taken December 2005, Nikon D70 Digital SLR, Sigma 105mm macro lens This is a unidentified species of acropora that I acquired as a small frag. It’s pictured here a few days after being added to the display tank. This frag is about 1 ΒΌ inches tall.

This frag is at the top of the reef structure less than a foot from the water surface. I didn’t have enough room to get a nicely focused image. UPDATE: This coral bleached and died in March 2006.
