Blue Acropora millipora

Blue Millipora (Acropora millipora), about 3 weeks in display tank. Picture taken November 2006, Nikon D70 Digital SLR, Sigma 105mm Macro Lens This small colony of Acropora millipora was given to me by a fellow hobbyist Dan Connor. Due to space limitations I placed this coral in the lower 3rd of the display about 6 to 8 inches from the sand bed.

This image shows the difference with 3 months growth. UPDATE: This coral became overgrown by a large Montipora during the spring of 2008.
