Blue Spotted Tridacna crocea Clam

This clam was purchased on August 2nd, 2001. It arrived dry in a wet box. Seems being bagged was not enough. I really didn’t think this clam would survive but it has been doing great for several months. I have this clam up about as high as I can place it directly under 400w lighting. The location where this clam was got intensely overgrown by corals and I decided to move this coral down to the sand. I simply don’t have a spot of the rock anymore not covered in corals.
