The tank features custom cabinetry, advanced lighting with URI Super Actinic bulbs, and showcases incredible coral growth over 42 months.   This gallery showcases a 180 gallon living room reef tank setup. The tank features a custom 55 gallon acrylic sump and documentation of coral growth over time. Photos include the initial tank setup, sump design, temporary lighting hood, and progressive tank shots showing the development of the reef ecosystem.

  The 180 gallon tank was not my first reef tank. This 55g tank was my first attempt. This tank was taken down in April 1999.
