Purchased: November 13th, 2005.

This wrasse had a hard time when first added to the display tank. Within seconds of being added to the tank it jumped back out. Jumping is a common problem with many fish and is expected from wrasses.

It was quickly rinsed off with tank water and added back to the display tank.

The next day I was unable to locate the wrasse the following day I found the wrasse in the overflow chamber. Must have jumped again. Lucky jump as it was not a fatal mistake.

The wrasse remained in the overflow chamber for nearly a month with no issues until one night I bumped the tank stand trying to clean the skimmer. The wrasse promptly jumped out the tank and onto the floor. Again I added it back to the overflow chamber where I could make sure it was feeding well and not getting harassed.

The following night the wrasse was missing again. After close inspection it was located within the rocks in the display tank. That was the last time it jumped. After about 3 days of getting chased by the resident tang it is now ignored and free to roam around the tank as it pleases.
