Main Coast Sea Vegetables Dry Seaweeds

Pictured here are several of the dried seaweeds from Main Coast Sea Vegetables, a popular source of seaweeds for vegetarians. These are really for cooking and salad toppings but also work great for feeding your fish.

I've had limited success with the Alaria and Kelp. These are dried macro algae. They are rather tough in nature. The fish aggressively attack it but seem unable to bite a chunk of it off and then start to lose interest in it. I did have excellent luck with the Dulse as all my fish now enjoy it. It was ignored at first. But I started wrapping it within the Nori and they quickly started to enjoy it.

The Nori is fantastic. It's green thin crispy (roasted) nori that all my tangs and gobies attack with gusto.
