Pocillopora sp.

This appears to be a small colony of Pocillopora sp. growing. The problem is that I did not buy one nor do I have one in my tank. It seems to be a hitch hiker but not from the live rock as I've had the live rock for over a year, it would have shown up sooner.

Should be interesting to watch this grow to see what it really is. This is about 1 inch long and 3/4 inch tall.

This shows the coral three months later. It has really increased nicely in size.

The coral's color has changed significantly as well.
