Red Sea Algae Blenny - Aidablennius sphynx
Picture taken December 1999, Nikon CoolPix 950, No Flash

Purchased: October 14th, 1999. Nickname: Ugly

This was puchased as an Algae Blenny to help eat hair algae. It had a common nick name of Lawnmower Blenny (which it is not). This one prefers the high life of waiting to be fed.

It does nip at the glass and at rocks that appear to be pretty clean. Seems to have no interest in hair algae.

This fish is about 5 inches long.

Died: On March 19th, 2000 this little fish nicknamed Ugly was found under the tank in the stand near the pumps. Apparently after jumping out the night before.
